Learn more about the 6th Ave NW Greenway Project – May 21

neighborhood greenway 3Anyone who walks or bikes on 6th Ave NW, whether you use the street when you go to work, take your kids to school, or just enjoy a pleasant neighborhood stroll, will want to attend this meeting to learn more about the 6th Ave NW Greenway Project!

When: Thursday, May 21, 2015
Time:  7:30 – 9:00 pm
Where: Peddler Brewing Company, 1514 NW Leary Way (kid friendly)
Who: All are welcome, especially neighbors from 6th Ave NW!

Ballard Greenways is a group of community volunteers whose #1 priority for 2015 is to turn 6th Ave NW into a safe, healthy street where people of all ages and abilities feel comfortable walking and biking.  Thanks to Fremont Greenways, the city made a safer connection across Leary, leading to 6th Ave NW.

Meeting Hosted by Ballard Greenways​.  This is also a good-bye party for Jennifer Litowski who has been leading Ballard Greenways since it started 3 years ago.

Meeting Agenda:

1.  Talk about campaign plan for Safe Routes to School for 6th Ave NW
2.  Update on Small Sparks, Small & Simple grants for 17th and Dock St.
3.  Bike to Work party at Peddler’s Brewery on May 9th from 5-8pm.
