Join your neighbors on June 6th for the PhinneyWood Emergency Communication Mini Drill and Pot Luck!  This event if FREE & open to all.  Learn about Seattle’s HUB system, where your nearest HUB is located.  Bring a dish to share and get out & meet your neighbors.

Time:  Drill from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m., Potluck at 12 p.m.
Location: Greenwood Park, 602 N 87th St.


Also happening on June 6th, a FREE Earthquake Home Retrofit Class happening at the Ballard Library.  This introductory class provides information for do-it-yourselfers or those who want to become educated consumers on how to seismically secure your home to its foundation. Experienced instructors share their insight on tools needed, building techniques, the City’s free plan set and the permit process.  Class is FREE, but pre-registration is required.
