District 6 Candidate Forum – June 6, 2015

Did you make it to today’s District 6 Seattle City Council Forum? If not, here are a few video clips for you! While this is just a sampling of the meeting, you do get a sense how each candidate might represent you on the Seattle City Council.

In this clip, candidates were asked how would they balance the needs of their district against those of the City of Seattle as a whole.

Here’s a question regarding Transportation – Is current public transit adequate in District 6?

Lightning Round! Green card means YES, Yellow card means MAYBE, and Red card means NO.

Question to the candidates about affordable housing.  Note, the moderator asks them to provide an example from another city.

Question – There will be 120,000 new residents moving to Seattle in the next 20 years, how should our limited space be allocated for cars, bikes, pedestrians, etc.

In this clip, candidates are provided time to explain answer they provided during the lightning round.
