Neighbors were able to meet the playground designer and share their thoughts on the style of playground they’d like to see, and specific equipment they would like to have included. A second meeting will be held in January 2016. Seattle Parks & Recreation will be in the design and planning stage for several months, with construction expected to being in the 3rd quarter of 2016.
Did you miss today’s event? There is still time to provide feedback on what changes you would like to see happen at Gilman Playground by completing this short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/upcomingparkproject
You may also contact the project coordinator, Karimah Edwards, with questions or to be added to the email distribution list at email@example.com.
Thank you to West Woodland Neighbor, Kelly D., for providing details for this post.
