Lisa Duggan, Whittier Heights – Ballard Neighbor, is tired of gun violence and she is doing something about it.  The recent lock-downs at two neighborhood schools, Ballard High School & Salmon Bay K-8, have parents asking how best to protect children.

Lisa is organizing a meet-up with Moms Demand Action, an activist group focused on common-sense, middle-ground solutions to the escalating problem of gun violence in America.  The event,  scheduled for Thursday, Jan 28th at 6:30 PM, will focus on helping neighbors understand what can be done to reduce this violence.
