Big news continues to come from NW 65th Street. This week the West Woodland Neighborhood welcomes Jigsaw Records, and Stock to our small business community!
Jigsaw Records, the music retailer within The Josephine’s performance space at 608 NW 65th Street, will be holding their grand-opening this Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Jigsaw Records had a soft opening back in October 2015, and has been waiting for the permit process to be completed. Now that the paperwork is in order, Jigsaw Records will be opened every Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Operated by Chris McFarlane, Jigsaw Records specializes in power pop, twee, lo-fi indie pop/rock, punk-infused pop, and “pretty much any other kind of fun music that we fancy,” according to their website. Expect to see vinyl, CDs, and tapes from local, national, and international indie labels stocked at Jigsaw Records.
Stock, West Woodland’s newest restaurant, is set to open Friday, January 29, 2016. Located at 500 NW 65th Street, Stock will be serving breakfast, lunch and early dinner, as well as weekend brunch, and Happy Hour on Friday and Saturday.
Expect Stock to become a regular on your neighborhood restaurant rotation. With a seasonal selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches, using bread from Tall Grass Bakery, Stock is bringing the best of Seattle to NW 65th Street. For those who have missed having Tony’s Coffee in the neighborhood, you’ll be able to get your fix at Stock. They will also serve a selection of Ballard beers and NW wines. For more information about Stock, find them on Facebook HERE and on the web at: http://www.stockseattle.com/
