Love Vinyl? Two Record Store Day Events Happening In The Neighborhood!

West Woodland Loves Vinyl!  Record Store Day in Seattle has evolved from a fun excuse to shop for vinyl records to an event filled day, packed with free shows, giveaways, and more! This year you can celebrate right here in the neighborhood at TWO West Woodland, Ballard businesses.  Here’s the skinny on what’s happening!

Jigsaw Records – 608 NW 65th Street

After quietly opening on NW 65th Street in January, Jigsaw Records is throwing a long-awaited Grand Opening celebration!  Expect to see great deals by small independent bands and labels from all over the world and an amazing line up of live music happening throughout the day. Here’s a schedule:

Light In The Attic Records at Populuxe Brewing – 826 NW 49th Street

Populuxe Brewing has partnered with Light In The Attic Records and Verity Credit Union to host a benefit in support of The Vera Project.  The Vera Project fuels personal and community transformation through collaborative, youth-driven engagement in music and art.  Populuxe will donate $1 from every beer sold during the even to support the Vera Project.

The event runs from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 16.  You’ll be treated to live DJ’s and a limited beer release, “Better Than The Beatles” Brown.   Love trivia? Answer three music related trivia questions at the Verity Trivia Booth and get $1 off your first beer. Additional event information available HERE.
