Upcoming Middle School Open House Events For Seattle Public Schools


Time for school tours!  If you have a 5th Grade student at a Seattle Public School, you will want to take note of the following middle school open house and tour dates below.  Check the individual school website for more details.

Hamilton International Middle School 

Date: January 31 2017
Time: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Whitman Middle School

Whitman will be hosting an Open House for prospective students for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 7pm.

Join us in the Whitman auditorium at 7 p.m. for a presentation by staff to find out more about Whitman. If you are unable to attend this event the materials presented can be picked up M-F, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the main office at Whitman starting February 1.

Open Enrollment is scheduled for February 13 through February 24. Visit the district website at www.seattleschools.org for more information and enrollment forms.

Salmon Bay School 

Interested in learning more about Salmon Bay School? Join us for a daytime or evening tour. Elementary tours are for parents, but prospective middle schoolers are welcome to attend the middle school tours.

Daytime Tours

Our daytime tours provide families a chance to see our classrooms in action.

Tuesday Jan. 24th and Tuesday Feb. 7th

  • Elementary:  9:50 -11:20 a.m.  (Walking/Classroom tour 10:20-10:50)
  • Middle School: 9:20 -10:50 a.m. (Walking/Classroom Tour 10:00-10:30)

Evening Tour

Our evening tour provides families a chance to walk through our building and hear from our teaching staff.

Thursday Feb 9th 

  • Elementary:  6 -7:30pm
  • Middle School: 7 -8:30pm
