WHAT: The Seattle Emergency Communication Hubs are hosting their annual spring training and will set up so neighbors and volunteers can learn what goes on at a hub, what happens when it gets dark, and how to manage information when other volunteers come to help. The new Seattle Emergency NeighborLink Map is up and running …
Thanks to those who helped “make a mark” on preparedness” during the first-ever Seattle Hub-a-thon! More than 60 groups and individuals can now contact each other directly on the Seattle Emergency NeighborLink map: http://seattleemergencyhubs.org (scroll down on Home Page until you see the map.)
It’s never too late to become part of this effort – if you haven’t already, please fill in and submit the online form for your Hub, SNAP or Block Watch group. CERT members are also encouraged to join the map. The Seattle Emergency NeighborLink map will continue to be a community resource for those who have organized around safety and disaster.

Experienced instructors share their insight on tools needed, building techniques, the City’s free plan set and the permit process.
