Local Independent Retailer The Sneakery Celebrates their 10th Year in Business

sneakery 1To celebrate their 10th year in business, The Sneakery will be offering 20% off everything in the shop between February 25th – 28th.  Since opening in 2006, The Sneakery has sold thousands of pairs of shoes, socks, and shoelaces for men, women, and children in their brick-and-mortar only store, located at 612 NW 65th Street in West Woodland, Ballard.

The Sneakery carries original heritage collections from brands you like, Converse, Vans, Saucony, New Balance, Asics, and Seattle-based shoe company Brooks. Looking for those PF Flyer high tops you wore as a teenager? The Sneakery has you covered on those as well as other brands you might not have realized were still around like Gola, Palladium, and Tretorn. If you need those same cool styles for your kid, no problem – the Sneakery carries sizes from infant 4 to an adult 14!

In a world focused on luxury goods and internet shopping, The Sneakery is able to offer that same instant gratification at a fair price, while still giving customers the opportunity to shop locally. Why hassle with shipping when you can replace your favorite old pair of Chucks or VANS with a shiny new pair at the same suggested retail price? Certain things the internet can’t offer, like that throwback luxury of actually trying on shoes before purchasing. Smart shopping never goes out of style, just like the iconic brands at The Sneakery.

Foot fashion doesn’t end with shoes. Make an even bolder statement with a sweet pair of novelty socks to suit every occasion, profession, hobby, or quirk that strikes your fancy. The Sneakery carries thousands of styles including Star Wars characters, Seahawks and Sonics players, emojis, and of course cats, to performance running socks, comfortable roll tops, and no-shows for everyone in the family.

Need shoelaces for that favorite pair of worn in kicks? With thousands of colors, lengths, styles, and fabrics, finding the right ones can be a frustrating search. They’ve also got you covered there with laces from 30” to 72”.

The Sneakery has loved being a part of the Ballard community for the last 10 years and is looking forward to a great future!
